A Reproduction Architectural Blueprint Drawing of Destruction Island Lighthouse, Washington State in 1888. Construction of the Destruction Island Lighthouse began in 1890. The island was proposed as a site for a lighthouse years earlier, but a shortage of funds and shifting priorities delayed the project. After the 94-foot conical tower was complete, it was wrapped in a skin of iron to protect it from the elements.

The Destruction Island blueprint copy arrived in perfect shape thanks to extraordinary care in packaging. The size, dimensions and color were exactly as described. I was able to hang this immediately and it looks great. I have a stairwell with three landings, this is on the first, then a lighthouse painting, then a photo of a working lighthouse. It truly tied my theme together. Being from Washington State, I loved learning the history of this lighthouse. The blue frame perfectly accents the piece. Thank you!
