A plan of Marblehead Light Tower located at the entrance to Marblehead Harbor, in Essex County Massachusetts. This lighthouse has a unique and economical skeletal design featuring eight cast iron piles on concrete foundations. It was completed in 1895 at a cost of $8,786 and first lit on April 17th, 1896. It still stands today, it's fixed green light serving as a beacon to mariners on Boston's North Shore.
