Architectural Drawing from 1850 of the lighthouse designed for Prudence Island, RI. This lighthouse depicted in this drawing was never actually constructed. After this design had been approved and $3,500 allocated by congress for it's construction, the decision was made to instead move the old Goat island lighthouse (inactive since 1842) to the Sandy Point location.
