A map of part of South Boston from the 1874 G.M. Hopkins & Company atlas. This map shows the section of South Boston the is south of what is presently the Reserve Channel. This map is bounded on the west by H. Street, on the East by L. Street, on the north by East First Street, and on the South by Fourth Street and Broadway. An interesting note is that the northern part of L. Street ends at the Harbor because the area or the Harbor on which Summer Street is located had not been filled yet.
