A Reproduction Map of the UKRAIN by J. Janssonius published in 1657. Based on Guillaume La Vasseur de Beauplan's map of the region published in "Description d'Ukraine". It was one of the earliest printed maps to include the name Ukraine in the title.
This Map is printed on heavy matte fine art paper with archival inks.
Framed maps include drymounting, UV filtering glass, and your choice of six mouldings, wired and ready to hang upon delivery. All mouldings are approximately 1.5" wide. Please factor in an additional 3" to the listed size for framed items.

Beautiful piece of wall art and excellent map reproduction. I bought the largest print option available after asking the seller about 15 questions. I figured the smallest size might make all of the small-print names on the map too difficult to read. I was concerned that the largest size would look too pixelated close up. But the largest size, even under a magnifying glass, looks very sharp and authentic. It's colorful but just the right brightness. I also read the ratings and took a chance on the frame because my nearby art framer is so pricey. I made a great decision on that too. The frame (I got the walnut color) is impeccable. I have nothing critical to report. I'm happy with everything about it, including the price. It was completed much faster than I expected as well. Great work.
